only a real estate, you are buying life style and life quality. This project is not one of the typical projects in Riga, this project is special, with personal attention to every detail -- details, that differentiate this “Palmu maja” from others.
Our goal in this project was to create harmonized and enabling environment for the residents. Therefore, in this project we use only 100% natural and ecologically clean materials. As well, our building has received Energy efficiency certificate.
Clay bricks usually compare with good vine – with time, clay brocks don’t get older, they just get better. Therefore for “Palmu maja” we used clay bricks for inside and outside wall construction. Brick walls never get old and never loose its value – thus, a house constructed from clay bricks with time will appreciate in value.
Gypsum is the ideal surface for all walls because it has the same pH value and the same thermal conductivity as the human skin. These characteristics help balancing internal climate, because gypsum is the ideal humidity manager. All interior walls in „Palmu Maja” are treated with gypsum.
While taking care of the living quality and your health, we have selected copper pipes for water and heating installation. In the periodic table of elements copper is in the same group as gold and silver in which it shares many of the same characteristics, to the point of being defined a "semi" noble metal if not a true noble metal. Thus, water and heating system is built using copper pipes
Building insulation has a very important economic factor. Energy efficient insulation is reducing heating costs. Consequently, investment in functional and durable thermal insulation optimizes investment and reduces heating costs, which enhances the value of the property. Therefore, the “Palmu maja” is insulated with rock wool.
Windows are one of the most important elements of your home. They help to define the style and character of your home while creating an invisible barrier between you and the outside world. Therefore, for this project we chose wood windows with thermal conductivity.
