Building Kr. Barona Street 6 was built in 1880. year as a rental house on the project of architect John Friedrich Baumann. The well-known architect has designed about a third of all the buildings of the Riga Boulevard arc of that time, including Kr. Riga circus building adjacent to Barona Street.

Cr. Barona Street was marked on the map of Riga in 1858. during the demolition of the ramparts of Riga, but only 65 years later, in 1923. in 2009, the street got its now street name. Krisjanis Barons is the most prominent representative of Latvian literature, by profession – teacher, widely known as a writer and publicist. Barons was an honorary member of the Riga Latvian society, but made the most significant contribution to the history of Latvian literature by creating a collection of folk songs or dainu, thus acquiring the name dainu father and in 2004.recognized as the greatest Latvian personality of all time.

The residential building is located in Kr. Barona Street in the initial stage, where Reigns 19. representative masonry buildings characteristic of the second half of the century. This house forms an important Kr. Barona street cultural-historical building fragment and gracefully fits into the urban landscape. The House has five floors, on the first floor there are commercial premises, while from the second to the fifth floor there are luxurious apartments overlooking the Verman Garden - one of the most magnificent and ancient parks in Riga. The building has only 12 apartments, with a different area of 33 sq.m to 142 sq.m.the ceiling height of the apartments is from 2.9 m to 3.5 m. There are spacious three-and four-room apartments overlooking the park, as well as compact two-room apartments with windows overlooking the historic Riga circus building.

The property is located in the heart of the city with a well-developed infrastructure and extensive public transport accessibility. In addition, the infrastructure offered by Rail Baltic will soon be available a few minutes away, which will allow only a few hours to reach neighboring countries and will provide a convenient and fast train service not only to Riga airport, but also to European countries. Currently, renovation work is being completed in the house and apartments. In the apartments, a design is created that combines both historical chic and modern classics.

In the living rooms of the apartments are restored ceiling historical plaster cornices with a central rosette, thus preserving 19.gs. cultural and historical heritage and its inherent aestheticism. In the corridors, kitchens, bedrooms and sanitary units, modern gypsum cornices with hidden lighting are created. In each room as the dominant accent of decor is black color. The design project of apartments and buildings was created by the architecture and design studio OPEN AD Zanes Teteres-Schulce.

The apartments have renovated luxurious oak double front doors with decorative solid wood cornice. Also, the staircase of both the street and the courtyard facade and the luxurious entrance doors of the parade have been restored. During the renovation of the staircase, the pristine aura has been preserved, but modern design and lighting have been created. In the middle of the building, where the atrium was previously located, an elevator has been built for the convenience of young residents, which has not been in the house until now.

The entire building has been rebuilt heating system, installed Czech cast iron radiators with individual heating adjustment option and meter for each apartment, as well as restored pristine tile stoves wherever possible. In the courtyard of the house there are parking lots, which can be purchased for a separate fee.
