The six-storey building that was constructed in 1908 and repeatedly reconstructed and had the qualitative rental space of 466 m2 was located in the land plot at 41 Dzirnavu Street next to 33 Valdemara Street. This building also is declared a national cultural monument. For two years this building remained empty, as the access to the building located in the inner courtyard was denied due to the construction of the new building, however, this house was slowly inhabited again.
History
BUILT UPON THE PROJECT BY EIZENS LAUBE
The apartment building at 41 Dzirnavu Street was built in 1908 upon the project by Eizens Laubes, and in 1932 it was redesigned by Pauls Kundzins. In 2002 the buildings reconstruction plan was developed by Edvins Vecumnieks' (Edvīns Vecumnieks) architects office which was implemented in 2003. Now the building has the rental space of 466 m2.
